Since 2008 Jordan heads have become accustomed to expecting the gift that only the Jumpman can deliver — a retro of the coveted Air Jordan 11. This year is no different, dropping the much-beloved 'Cool Grey' 11s.

Renowned for premium materials and that unmistakable patent leather mudguard, the XI is arguably the most popular Air Jordan silhouette of all time. It's the shoe and the colourway we've all been waiting for.

If it ain't broke, why fix it? Jordan stayed true to the 2001 original and the 2011 retro. The 2021 high-cut patent leather upper is dressed in 'Medium Grey', wrapped in the 'Cool Grey' mudguard, while the familiar white Jumpman, laces, and midsole return. And, of course, the trademark icy translucent outsole sits down below.

As for the build, nothing changes — a nubuck upper with tonal webbing lace loops and a shiny patent leather overlay. Underfoot cushioning comes by way of a full-length Air-sole unit housed in the Phylon midsole, finished off with a translucent outsole that reveals a carbon fibre spring plate.
