First released in 2008 as the culmination of years of stability-focused running shoe development, the Adistar Control 5 was built with a widened forefoot, breathable mesh, and a sculpted midsole packed with AdiPRENE+ cushioning for runners who logged serious miles. Now repositioned for city life, the double-layered two-tone open mesh upper arrives in black with Iron Metallic and Grey Six overlays that add chrome-finished depth to the construction without departing from the dark, understated base. The EVA midsole with Formotion heel unit provides cushioned support underfoot, a 3D Torsion system in the arch keeps the transition smooth, and a rubber outsole delivers reliable grip across urban surfaces.
