When the Air Force 1 needs something more to justify its presence in 2026, Nike answers with the Air Force 1 Low LX Vibram - a version that keeps every visual detail of the 1982 Bruce Kilgore original intact and swaps out the only thing that could make it more capable: the outsole. In place of the standard rubber cupsole, a high-performance Vibram outsole with a rugged, directional tread pattern delivers the kind of grip and durability that the traditional AF1 sole was never designed to provide - making this genuinely useful across wet pavements, uneven city terrain and light outdoor surfaces. The upper construction also upgrades from standard leather to a lightweight, breathable ripstop textile that offers more flexibility and ventilation in warmer conditions without sacrificing durability. Nike Air cushioning remains in the midsole, and the encapsulated Air unit at the heel keeps the AF1's signature comfortable ride intact. Arriving in Summit White with Light Bone, Speed Yellow accents and Smoke Grey detailing, this men's Nike Air Force 1 version earns its LX designation through the upgrades it makes rather than the design changes it doesn't.
