The men's Nike Air Max 90 Drift takes one of the most untouchable silhouettes in sneaker history and gives it a genuinely functional upgrade without disturbing the DNA that made it iconic. Where the standard AM90 relies on a leather and mesh upper, the Drift swaps the construction for a rugged combination of ripstop mesh, rubber overlays and leather panels that makes it more capable on light trail and outdoor surfaces while losing nothing in the everyday streetwear department. A matte black mudguard grounds the build visually, and the layered upper construction gives this version of the AM90 more depth and texture than any standard colourway achieves. The foam midsole and Max Air heel unit deliver the same comfortable, impact-absorbing ride the Air Max line has been known for since 1990, and the rubber Waffle outsole provides the directional traction the silhouette's heritage demands. Arriving as a JD Sports exclusive in the Anthracite with Black and Dark Grey colourway, this is a men's Nike Air Max 90 that justifies its existence as something genuinely different rather than just another colourway drop.
