The men's Nike Ava X is one of the most interesting new silhouettes Nike has introduced in 2026 - a shoe that sits comfortably between the world of performance running and lifestyle footwear without fully committing to either, and that is precisely what makes it worth paying attention to. Built as an evolution of the Ava Rover, the Ava X strips back the silhouette to a cleaner, more refined profile while retaining the layered, technical aesthetic that drew attention to the original - with dotted textures, graphic overlays and pull tab details across a breathable textile upper with synthetic leather accents that keep the construction durable and lightweight in equal measure. Cushlon 3.0 foam in the midsole delivers soft, responsive cushioning that makes the Ava X comfortable enough for all-day wear without the underfoot bulk of a full performance running shoe, while the rubber outsole with textured cutouts in high-abrasion areas provides grip and durability across everyday surfaces.
