The women's Nike Pegasus 42 in White with Metallic Silver and Green Strike is the everyday road running shoe reimagined from the midsole up, and for any woman building a weekly training routine it is one of the most capable options in the Nike running range right now. A full-length curved Air Zoom unit replaces the separate forefoot and heel pods of the Pegasus 41, delivering seamless energy return from heel strike through to toe-off, while a ReactX foam midsole adds 13 per cent more responsiveness than previous React technology for a ride that feels genuinely propulsive rather than just cushioned. The updated MR-10 2.0 last creates a little more room in the forefoot and toe box than the 41, and a lightweight mesh upper keeps airflow moving comfortably through any session. An updated Waffle outsole with high-abrasion rubber and flex grooves rounds out a shoe that covers everything from easy recovery jogs to longer tempo efforts.
