The men's Nike Pegasus Premium is the most technically ambitious daily trainer the Pegasus line has ever produced - and the Photon Dust colourway is the clean, understated way to wear what is genuinely one of the most interesting midsoles in running right now. Where every previous Pegasus used a single cushioning system, the Pegasus Premium stacks three of Nike's most powerful technologies simultaneously: ZoomX foam for soft, springy energy return, a sculpted full-length Air Zoom unit that runs heel to toe for a propulsive, trampoline-like ride, and ReactX foam in the heel that adds stability and durability while being 13% more responsive than previous React formulas. The result is the highest energy return of any Pegasus to date, housed in a 42.8mm stack height that sits in genuine super trainer territory. A circular knit upper keeps the shoe lightweight and breathable across long miles, and a modified Waffle outsole with high-abrasion rubber provides durable road traction at approximately 325g.
